I will support you in processing your stressors and emotions while also teaching you skills through direct interventions. The skills we will work on will help you increase your emotional regulation, be more present with yourself and your children, and feel more confident in your role as a parent.
I specialize in supporting mothers in reducing depression, anxiety and stress in their lives and improving their relationships through a combination of directive (CBT, MBSR) and insight-oriented interventions (psychodynamic psychotherapy).
I will help you regulate your emotions and decrease emotional reactivity with the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions, which teach us how to think in more balanced, flexible ways. We will develop your ability to be calm and patient with the use of Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBSR). We will improve your communication by identifying your emotional needs and communicating about them in more vulnerable ways (Attachment-Based Therapy) as well as increasing your insight into the relationship patterns with yourself and others that are getting in the way of you living your best life (Psychodynamic Psychotherapy).
